Support Services

As part of CFM Management's ongoing management contract services, we provide all of the support and tools necessary for the association to build on the initial planning and set-up of the community so that your community can continue to be the premier community association in the Washington Metropolitan area. 

                  

In-House Training and Educational Programs

CFM provides training and educational programs for all Community Managers, Site Managers, and Senior Site Maintenance and Engineering personnel.  Each month, a different CFM managed community hosts the meeting in its party room. We can think of no better way to give senior staff:

  • Timely information and training on important topics affecting condominiums, cooperatives and homeowner associations;

  •  Networking opportunities with some of the industry's best managers, sharing their experiences and successful personal and business techniques;

  • A chance to share successes, challenges, and concerns and get opinions from their peers;

  • Access to professionals and experts in the industry as guest speakers; and,

  • Regular face-to-face interaction with other managers, engineers, maintenance staff and CFM staff members.

We address subjects such as compliance and accommodation under ADA, hiring, and firing practices, sharpening writing and communication skills, dealing with difficult people, due process procedures and rules enforcement and improving coaching and supervisory skills.  Additionally, programs concentrate on disaster preparedness, risk management, working with PCB's, CFC's, asbestos and underground storage tanks.

Web Site / E-Mail

CFM was the first Washington Area community association management company to open a web site, and we have expanded this site to include our communities.  Services offered to our properties include community marketing, interactive pages for pool application, parking permits, admit slips, architectural control applications, resale disclosure requests, change of address and maintenance requests.  We have the resources to assist the community with its own web site development.  We can implement a plan to create a site for use as an effective means of communications with the Board and community, as well as a marketing tool to support values and increase sales at the community.

 

Premiere Services, Inc.

Premiere Services is a CFM affiliated company with three support divisions:

1.  Career Services, Engineering & Maintenance Services, and Education & Training Services. 

Career Services provides permanent career and interim personnel placements.  Specializing in testing candidates for personal characteristics, conducting background investigations and credit checks, and coaching Boards during the interview process, Career Services assists in choosing the right employees for your community.  Interim services provide qualified candidates to fill in during vacations, extended sick leave, or other vacancies.

2.  Engineering and Maintenance Services provides a variety of services including routine maintenance, common area and in-unit maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, contract administration, and elevator inspections.  Interim engineering and maintenance support is also available. Education and training for staff safety and health and authorized programs for compliance with OSHA regulations, site compliance inspections and risk management services are additional services provided to our industry. 

3.  Education and Development for boards of directors are equally important for the success of the Community.  Premiere Services offers customized programs on a variety of topics such as Board Leadership, Strategic Planning, Committee Development and Team Building.
