Dr. Van Dell practices medicine in a caring, unhurried, comfortable atmosphere. He strongly believes in patient education and autonomy, and desires for the patient and physician to come together to reach an effective plan of treatment. Flower Mound Women’s Care is a full service women’s healthcare facility that he opened in August of 2005 to offer the convenience of a good location at Parker Square with the latest in technology and comfort for his patients. From wood-scraped floors in the waiting room to a state-of-the-art GE 3/D 4/D in office ultrasound machine and the elimination of paper charts with a new electronic medical records system this office was designed to offer efficiency as well as style. Dr. Van Dell specializes in the following services:
Obstetrics: Being pregnant is on of the most special and precious times for a woman. Dr. Van Dell is available on-call 24/7 to his obstetrical patients, believing in total maternal care. He believes that if he is in town, he should be available if the need should arise. So whether it is a routine or high-risk pregnancy, he is well trained to handle the situation. He also offers pregnant moms the option of choosing Medical Center at Lewisville or Baylor Grapevine hospitals for their delivery.
Infertility: Dr. Van Dell understands the frustrations and emotional ups and downs of dealing with infertility issues. He has long been interested in each different aspect of infertility from tubal factor infertility, ovulation dysfunction, and recurrent miscarriage. He realizes each case is individual and treats his patients with care during this difficult time.
Gynecology: From uterine fibroids to menopause, Dr. Van Dell is well versed in the latest techniques of gynecologic surgery, especially minimally invasive surgery and urogynecology. Many procedures can be done in the office or surgery center to minimize risk and cost to his patients.

Dr. Van Dell completed his undergraduate education in mathematics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas in 1998. He chose to complete his residency at the Texas Tech University Program in El Paso, Texas in 2002. He became board certified in 2004.
After completing his residency training, he began in private practice in 2002 with a large group practice in Lewisville and is August of 2005 was excited to open his own practice in Flower Mound.
He is married and lives with his wife in Lantana. In his spare time, he enjoys working on computers, reading, traveling, watching movies, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.

As a Lantana resident, Diane G. Van Maele, D.O., is an active member in the local community. She has special interests in preventive medicine and nutrition issues.
Marilyn R. Janke, M.D., FAAP, has practiced medicine in the North Texas area for 20 years. She has special interests in attention, learning and psychological disabilities, as well as the treatment of asthma.
Bruce A. Eckel, M.D., has also practiced in the Denton area for 20 years. He has special interests in international medicine, the care of patients adopted from outside the United States and has been involved in mission trips to China, Russia and Mexico.
Milton D. Squiers, M.D., joined Cook Children’s seven years ago after 19 years of practice in San Angelo, Texas. He has special interests in health care for teenagers and children with attention and learning disabilities. |
