ICE SKATINGGroup Events
Polar Ice located in The Grapevine Mills Mall is a great place for all your group activities. Our facility features two NHL regulation sheets of ice, an arcade with the latest video games, private party rooms and a café.
Ice Skating Lessons
Designed by the U.S. Figure Skating, the basic skills program is a beginning ice skating program that is fun, challenging and rewarding. Participation in this program enables both hockey and figure skaters of all ages and abilities to learn the fundamentals of the sport. Included in your Learn to Skate semester are free unlimited public sessions and skate rental.
Group Rates
Non-Profit organizations receive a reduced rate of $5.50 Monday through Friday mornings also you can plan your group Monday through Friday afternoon for $6.50 a person. A tax exempt Certificate is required in addition to an advanced booking. Price includes Admission and Skate Rental
“Behind the Scenes Tour”
Make your ice skating trip educational by adding a “Behind the Scenes Tour” this tour takes the children through the complete ice rink experience by showing them what it takes to build and run the ice rink. This tour includes: admission, skate rental, an 8-minute video and 15 minute walking tour. Cost varies, please call for details.
“Snow Day”
Designed for younger children (K – 3rd grade) “Snow Day” provides children with the chance to experience a little bit of winter and snow any time of year. “Snow Day” includes: public session admission, skate rental, 15 minute group skating lesson, hot chocolate, cookies and of course SNOW! Cost is $8.00 per person. Minimum of 15 kids and an advanced booking is required.
